It's an early evening start (Monday to Thursday)
- just 2.5 hours per day = 10 hours per week

YOUR course helps you develop an understanding of the safety, seamanship, navigation and passage planning elements of skippering a boat during the day around Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, The Hawkesbury, Broken Bay and Pittwater, Sydney and beyond.

The course offers:

This is a live course presented in our classroom. Approximately 50 hours.
A dedicated instructor, providing feedback, instruction and personal support, live, online, every day.
Locally developed to be able to support the training and development of skippers who want real-life case studies on our NSW and Queensland coast
Interaction & discussion with your instructor, available throughout the day, by phone.
Immediate face to face feedback on your work and the ability to take exams at your own pace.
Use of proven teaching methods (discussions and immediate feedback exercises) significantly enhances learning.
Attain RYA Day Skipper Shore Based Certificate upon satisfactory completion of the course which includes two short examinations for you to sit in your own time. If for some reason you do not pass first time, we go through everything with you and give an opportunity to sit again, once you feel ready.
