Cure 48GT Design:

Built by McConaghy Boats, the Cure 48GT reflects a level of construction quality and refinement that sets it apart within the performance cruising market. Rather than relying heavily on optional upgrades, the boat is delivered with a comprehensive standard specification and a layout developed to maximise usability, comfort and real-world cruising practicality.

The interior

The interior is clean, functional and intentionally uncluttered. The saloon has been designed to prioritise flow and everyday usability, creating a comfortable living space while maintaining clear movement throughout the boat.

Accommodation

Accommodation is efficient and purpose-driven, with integrated storage solutions and practical hanging space incorporated into both the forward port cabin and the owner’s starboard hull.

On deck the latest refinements are immediately apparent

Helm stations feature custom moulded carbon fibre seating, raised helm positions and refined navigation consoles that improve both ergonomics and visibility. Throttle controls are integrated directly into the helm, providing clear sightlines and precise handling when docking or operating under power.

Movement around the boat is safe and intuitive...

with larger steps positioned forward of the helms to provide direct access to the side decks. Deck layouts have been simplified through improved line management, cleaner rope runs and carefully considered hardware placement, reinforcing the boat’s focus on efficient short-handed sailing.

The revised cabin top profile improves both visibility to the mainsail and access around the deck whilst incorporating the generous solar array. The deck hardware refinements continue the focus on performance, durability and ease of use. Hull blinds are standard throughout, while practical onboard features have been integrated without compromising the clean, lightweight design philosophy of the boat.
